I'm reminded of when I first heard Palin announced as McCain's running mate. Suddenly the dying campaign was unstoppable and the Democrats were quaking in their Crocs... At least according to the wingnut blogs. I remember feeling uneasy because I thought Palin was a joke from the get go. But was I missing something???
