(Giant) C*nt of The Day

Chuck Chatham is a wingtard running for office in Arkansas - the state where an above-average-smart golden retriever would be head and shoulders above the kind of folks typically deemed worthy of leadership. No surprise then that Chatham is an impressively dumb motherf*cker. But just how dumb? There's the shocker...

As a committee member of the Garland County GOP, Chatham was quoted as saying he campaigned against one candidate for state legislature, Democrat Jerry Rephan, because he is a "pro-abortion Jewish lawyer." Ooh... bit tacky even by conserva-tard standards. But fear not. There is a rational explanation:

When asked about it today, Chatham told TPM that any reference to Rephan's being Jewish was "inadvertent." "It has nothing to do with his faith," he said, but "the issue is the fact is that he is a liberal individual."

Chuck Chatham is a f*cking stupid tw*t. Oops... there I go being all "inadvertent". Or do I mean totally "advertent"?

Paul Broun: C*nt of the Day

Witnesses tell TPM that Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) laughed when an elderly man at his town hall meeting this week asked "Who's gonna shoot Obama?"

Now I ain't gonna go crazy and take this literally. I don't believe Broun would really laugh if the assassination of the President was being discussed in all seriousness (at least I'd sure the f*ck hope not). But that ain't the point. Just as Joe "You Lie" Wilson helped lower the bar by smack talking the Commander-in Chief, Broun has helped ratchet it down further by failing to bring one of his own nutjobs to heel. He didn't even politely slap down said nutjob like McCain did at his campaign townhall when that crazed witch started yammering about Obama being a Muslim. Why not? Because that's the last thing a conservative pol would do these days. Good manners and taking responsibility are a thing of the distant past.

If Broun had the sense of right and wrong of an average five-year-old, he would have apologized and made a big deal of disassociating himself from this lunatic immediately. But that would be sooo '08... Now conservatives like Broun actively court lunatics and live in mortal fear of being denounced as p*ssies by the teabagger cultural revolution. The lunatics are the base. And that's what's so sick and dangerous.

I'm not saying you could just draw a straight line of cause-and-effect between Joe Wilson and Jared Loughner - or Paul Broun and whatever horrible future event may lay in store - but you certainly could say that the roots of violent deeds begin in violent talk. And Broun's shameless abdication from common decency is just one more push.

C*nt of The Day

Tucker Carlson taps into the latest wingnut meme about kindergarten being a front for some kind of Khymer Rouge-style kiddy indoctrination by asking "Why would you want to raise your own kids when Michelle Obama will do it for you? In fact, she'll do it at gunpoint."

Oh poor sad little Tucker. You're running onto the field way too late in the game to out-Beck Beck. I'm sure even the slobbering masses who lap up Becky's garbage would find that snipe a little naif.

C*nts of The Day

Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) says political rhetoric doesn't really incite violent behavior at all -- but not before describing Arizona shooting suspect Jared Loughner as a "communist" and "the liberal of liberals."

You'd think Foxx, being a professional pol, might know liberalism and communism are mutually exclusive schools of thought. It's not actually possible to be both. But it would seem impossible to be Virginia Foxx and not be a c*nt.

Then there's John Velleco, the director of federal affairs for the Gun Owners of America, whose all pissed that gun control advocates will be using the Tucson massacre as an 'excuse' to push their agenda. Velleco said "You can't just pass a law every time something bad happens and expect that to solve the problem."

Err... isn't that exactly how the lawmaking process works?

C*nt of The Day

Meet Robert Stacy McCain (right), wingnut blogger and c*nt of the day. He's all in an uproar about Wikileaks' Julian Assange's "silly" sexual assault charges. And he's losing patience with those uppity feminists who think rape's a bad thing. Sheesh, what next? The women folk'll be wanting shoes... Or maybe setting free from McCain's basement sex dungeon. The nerve.

For most of us, the sordid 'ins and outs' of the Assange's case are confusing. Not stopping when a condom busts and your consensual partner asks you to quit? Could just be written off as ign'ance. But really it is a form of rape - an especially brutal kind in a world where HIV exists. But McCain would beg to differ. Says he:

"Listen up, sweetheart: You buy the ticket, you take the ride."

WTF??? I'm skeptical that sex with McCain could be in any way analogous to a theme park ride aside from the vomiting. But I'm mostly amazed that this misogynistic dweeb could still be talking like this in the 21st century. This is some serious Jurassic era bullsh*t.

Christian C*nt of The Day

American Christians: making Jesus look bad since 1620.

Bryan Fischer is "Director of Issues Analysis" for the conservative Christian group the American Family Association. He's also one of those uniquely American bible-thumpers whose spin on the Word of God makes folks wonder what book he mistakenly picked up instead of the Bible. And wonder too what can be wrong with a society that gives psychotic bozos like him public forums instead of nice, quiet rooms in mental health facilities.

Fischer, like most "Christian conservatives", is obsessed with the gays and the Muslims and he's called for both to be banned from serving in the military. He made this bizarre rant on the subject earlier this year:

"Homosexuality gave us Adolph Hitler, and homosexuals in the military gave us the Brown Shirts, the Nazi war machine and six million dead Jews."

Now Fischer is back to psycho up the discourse even more with a diatribe about the Medal of Honor - a subject he understands well given his own military record of zero days served. He objects to hero Army Sgt. Salvatore Giunta getting the award. Why? Because Giunta was honored for putting his own life at risk saving two fellow soldiers under heavy gunfire. And that's gay. For Fischer, saving lives is "feminizing" (read: gaying up) the concept of valor and honors should be only for soldiers who kill people. He goes on:

The bottom line here is that the God of the Bible clearly honors those who show valor and gallantry in waging aggressive war in a just cause against the enemies of freedom, even while inflicting massive casualties in the process... So the question is this: when are we going to start awarding the Medal of Honor once again for soldiers who kill people and break things so our families can sleep safely at night? It's not our soldiers who have become feminized, it is the awards process that has become feminized.

I know it's difficult to commit insane people against their will. But what the hell, this guy's insaner than a sack-full of rabid raccoons, he's literally crying out for help. Wouldn't it be the Christian thing to do?
