It's Only Sexism When She Says So...

Just how unsophisticated and immune to nuance are the cretins at Newsbusters? Enough to accuse Keith Olbermann of engaging in "political hackery for the Democratic Party" because he wondered why Sarah Palin is not accusing herself of sexism for driving Dede Scozzafava out of the NY-23 race.

For the benefit of those tighty righties without depth perception, Olbermann was not accusing Palin of sexism. He was pondering the irony that Sarah Palin, usually so ready to play the sexism card, was ringleading the attack on Scozzafava.

During the presidential campaign, every criticism leveled at Palin was met with accusations of misogyny. But now she's quite happy to see a better-qualified, RNC-endorsed female candidate thrown under the bus in favor of some out-of-towner who's extremism is more pleasing to her?

By Sarah Palin's hysterical standards, not Keith Olbermann's, the NY-23 debacle would qualify as blatant sexism if Palin applied the same standards for Scozzafava as she does to herself. That's ironic any way you look at it. And super dumb of Newsbusters not to understand the distinction.

  1. I'll never forgive McCain for unleashing this blight on the country. If it weren't for his absurd choice of running mate, she would still be a nutcase governor who most people have never heard of.

  2. Or McCain would have won. And we'd all be fighting over roadkill like post-apocalypse road warriors by now.

  3. Your commentary is ignorant at best, maybe next time before calling people names you can go into exactly why you disagree with their policies. Next time you call someone names you should justify it, I could act as you do and call you a racist for insulting Michael Steele or a sexist for insulting Sarah Pailin, but wont those arent games I play those are games you play.
