The vote this morning was 53-36 to extend the Bush tax cuts on incomes below $250,000 -- seven votes short of the 60 needed.
Don't tell me I can't blame Obama for this. Don't tell me I've got to go along with the passive-aggressive whining about "obstructionist Republicans" that's become a cover-all excuse for every Democrat failure. Sure, the GOP are a bunch of c*nts and they're destroying this country. But so are the Dems and our limp-as-hell president who couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag with a f*cking bazooka. The shame goes on...
Ok, Don't blame President Obama for this, this goes right on the door of our dems in the senate w/ no stomach for a FIGHT and no balls to kill the fillibuster
ReplyDeleteI blame Obama for not being a leader. Sure, Democrats don't do lock-step, what-I-say goes leadership like the GOP, but this is ridiculous. Obama's obsessed with bipartisan reach-across when he should be concentrating on corralling his own party into line and getting stuff done. Shame is, I don't even think he gives a crap about the stuff he supposedly wanted to do any more.
