Patricia Phillips is a Republican running for the Virginia state senate. In typically boneheaded c*ntservative style, she styles herself as an arch patriot opposing the dark forces of Democrat socialism and calls out Mark Herring, her opponent, as a "traitor" who refuses to "thank veterans". The Phillips campaign also sent out this mailer showing a veteran of the kind anti-American Herring refuses to thank... a Soviet naval officer. Well played, rethug morons!
