President Trump: Birther

Oh my. Up until now, I thought that orange mess on top of his head was the dumbest thing about putative prez Donald Trump. But no. Seems he's also a birther. Say Fox:
Potential presidential candidate Donald Trump says he has "just a little" doubt that President Obama is U.S.-born but his feeling doesn't make him an "idiot."
Yes, that feeling does make you an idiot... But look on the bright side: the American dream must be alive and well if even an idiot can get to "own" New York. This brings me to my favorite comment on the article:
How do you drive a birther mad? Put him in the oval office and tell him Obama's Kenyan birth certificate is in the corner.
Michael811, I salute you.

Teabagged

Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Ken Buck is getting flak for referring to Teabaggers as dumbasses. Oh my... who let that giant cat out of the bag?! Says The Denver Post:

On an audio tape obtained by The Denver Post, Buck was caught muttering "will you tell those dumbasses at the Tea Party to stop asking questions about birth certificates while I'm on the camera?" outside a June 11 event in Crowley.

Obviously a tad disingenuous of Buck to insult the idiots he's been cozying up to for votes. But what the hell. Try reading any news site comments on the story and you'll see thousands of caps-locked rants about Obama but virtually no 'baggers taking issue with Buck's assessment of them. Case closed I'd say. These f*ckwitted hicktards are literally too stupid to be insulted.

Taitz Ain't Quittin'

Orly Taitz: nutty bitch

Birther lunatic and pathological liar Orly Taitz is trying to revive her lawsuit challenging the legitimacy of Barack Obama’s presidency - even though the judge who rejected her last suit "received several affidavits from witnesses who say that Taitz asked them to lie to the court".

One of the most intriguing of the aforementioned affidavits was by fellow birther loon Lucas Smith. After Smith was almost run down by a car in Los Angeles, Taitz asked him to lie to the judge and say it was as a deliberate attempt on his life by 'Obama operatives'.

Is Taitz determined to keep picking the scab and pissing off judges until she ends up in jail? Let's hope so.

Birther Loon Going Broke

The law is finally losing patience with Birther Queen Orly Taitz. U.S. District Court Judge Clay Land, in Columbus, has fined her $20,000 for willfully abusing her right to practice law. He says:

"The Court finds that counsel’s conduct was willful and not merely negligent. It demonstrates bad faith on her part. As an attorney, she is deemed to have known better. She owed a duty to follow the rules and to respect the Court. Counsel’s pattern of conduct conclusively establishes that she did not mistakenly violate a provision of law. She knowingly violated Rule 11. Her response to the Court’s show cause order is breathtaking in its arrogance and borders on delusional.”

In just a few months, she's gone from spearheading a teabagger cause célèbre to being an embarrassing loon everyone wishes would just shut up. Even Glenn Beck won't go there anymore. Maybe there is hope that the small but vociferous minority of Americans who have lost their damn minds may be starting to find them.

News Flash From The Birther Bunker: Victory Declared!

After 9 months of sifting through the Internet Wayback Machine, they've finally hit pay dirt: a 5-year old screw-up by the AP as it appeared on the East African Sunday Standard online. I'm sure Obama is tendering his resignation and packing his bags as we speak... Gushes John Charlton at Infowars:

"Seeing that an AP reporter is too professional to submit a story which was not based on confirmed sources (ostensibly the Obama campaign in this case), the inference seems inescapable: Obama himself was putting out in 2004, that he was born in Kenya."

Err... did they spell his name as 'Barrack' in the story because they're way "too professional" too? And are there currently 166,000 pings for "Associated Press retracts" on Google because they'd "never submit a story which was not based on confirmed sources"?

Funny how the notoriously sloppy AP is suddenly the word of God because they want it to be. Yet the unproven Limbaugh quotes are totally and utterly false and you'd have to be an idiot to believe them.

Oh, and by the way, that "too professional" AP is still spelling Obama's first name wrong. Easy mistake to make when you're an American news service. He's only President of the United States after all.
