So Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Roseto, PA, throws a carnival in which one of the distractions is a kill Obama target shooting game. Obviously, quite a few folks took offense. But an equal number of wingnuts came out with the usual "liberals are so thin-skinned" and "they did worse to Bush" retorts. I have one simple point to make that seems to have been overlooked by both sides: But this is a f*cking church.
When did we descend so far into partisan madness that a Christian church can now do this kind of thing and no-one thinks "hmm... this doesn't strike me as very churchy"?
