Another Big "Duh" From DC

Senators Amy Klobuchar, John Cornyn and Christopher Coons - i.e., a bipartisan task force of clueless buffoons - are targeting copyright infringement with a bill that could land you five years in jail for posting a video online. The bill says:

The offense consists of 10 or more public performances by electronic means, during any 180-day period, of 1 or more copyrighted works.

In theory, this means that Grandma could upload a kitten clip to Youtube and get as much jail time as the average rapist does under the US justice system. Wow. What a shining example of the terminally bewildered being given authority over stuff they don't understand.
