That's So Gay

How gay is Wasilla? So gay they didn't even want their high school jazz choir singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" because Freddy Mercury was gay. Like, OMG...

WHS Principal Dwight Probasco reportedly had received complaints from at least one parent that the 1975 hit written by Freddie Mercury wasn’t appropriate for the ceremony simply because Mercury was gay.

But sanity eventually prevailed. After some argument, the song is now back on the program - only minus the verse that sings about killing a man in case that offends anyone (in Alaska?).

Anyway, I'll now look forward to conservatives everywhere embracing a strict gay embargo - and wish them luck finding anything to watch on TV or listen to on the radio that hasn't had a gay hand in it's making. But if all that gayness enrages them, they could always jump online and start blogging. Oops... maybe not. See, computers are gay because they were invented by Alan Turing and the Web is homosexual too because it was invented by Tim Berners Lee.

Now if someone could just find evidence that the English language itself was invented by a flamboyant Saxon named Julien, maybe we could shut these f*ckwits up once and for all.

  1. "received complaints from at least one parent"
"At least one parent" doesn't make Wasilla a bastian of demons. Even one teabagging whacked out former VP candidate doesn't do it. I've been to Wasilla. It's a lovely place. I met a number of VERY, VERY nice people there and had some of the best tacos I've ever had this side of Brooklyn Ave. in East LA.
    Go Wasilla!!

  2. Well, if their so offended by performing gay stuff they could always revert to the trusty, safe, old classics by the likes of Cole Porter, Sondheim, Gershwin, Noel Coward, Leonard Bernstein et al. Oh, wait a minute....
