Watching The Worms Squirm

Tom Delay appeared on The Today Show with his lawyer to announce that he was convicted because the case was tried in the most "liberal city in America." He called it the criminalization of politics. (Note to DeLay: Austin is the state capitol of Texas - if that's the most liberal city in 'Merica, the wingnuts are in trouble...)

DeLay's complete inability to be a man, 'fess up and just say "my bad" is pitiable. It's not that these amoral a**holes are amoral a**holes, it's the psychopathic absence of contrition, the way they think their sh*t don't stink, that makes them look clinical.

But there's hope... like the next batch of Wikileaks that promises to name 2,000 "high net worth individuals", including 40 politicians, as tax evaders. Rudolf Elmer, a former Swiss banker and big-time whistleblower, is on trial in Switzerland. And he ain't going down alone... watch this space!
