Rand Paul Speaks Sense. Really.

It's an almost Zen-like thing, but I always strive to find at least one thing I can agree with in everybody. And, shocks, today it's wig-wearing fascist über goon Rand Paul:

"Republicans traditionally say, 'Oh, we'll cut domestic spending, but we won't touch the military... Bottom line is, you have to look at everything across the board."

Maybe Paul's short-circuited the "third rail" by going there... maybe now we can have some kind of adult conversation about cutting our grotesque military expenditure without everyone howling?

For context, next year's military budget will be a little over a trillion f*cking dollars. Mostly to fight guys in caves and undergrads with exploding underpants. Rand Paul, you might be a disgrace to humanity, but thanks for pointing out the trillion dollar gorilla in the room.
