Pushing The Hypocrisy Envelope

Andy Harris wants his government-run healthcare. Now!

Maryland's Andy Harris is one of the new GOP'ers being inducted into the system in DC after winning in the midterms. Like any 'bagger-approved candidate, Harris was an outspoken critic of "Obamacare" during the campaign. He railed against "expansion of government-run or government-mandated insurance" and made it very clear he objected to "new government entitlements" like expanded access to healthcare.

So what was Harris' first priority in Washington? His own government-run healthcare:

According to Glenn Thrush of Politico, Harris created a stir at the orientation meeting by demanding to know why he had to wait a month after he was sworn in in January for his government-subsidized health care to kick in... [H]e even asked if there was some way he could buy into the government care in advance, seemingly thinking there might be a government program similar to the so-called 'public option' championed by progressive Democrats in 2009.

It feels like 'hypocrite' isn't enough to describe this guy. That would be like calling a raccoon a big squirrel. I'll take a leaf out of Mooselini's book and coin my own word: Hypercrite.
