Okies Say Nope To Shariah Law

Just in case anyone thought Oklahoma's recent constitutional amendment to ban Shariah law was just a bizarre waste of time motivated purely by bigotry, they do have an explanation:

"It's not a problem and we want to keep it that way."

So says state Sen. Anthony Sykes.

So will he be moving on to preempt takeovers of Oklahoma by zombies, vampires, Venusians, werewolves too? How far do you go with this 'it's not a problem and we want to keep it that way' thing? Perhaps he should outlaw common sense while he's about it to make sure Oklahoma never accidentally elects a state senator who isn't a f*cking idiot.
