I quit being a Christian. I'm out. In the name of Christ, I refuse to be anti-gay. I refuse to be anti-feminist. I refuse to be anti-artificial birth control. I refuse to be anti-Democrat. I refuse to be anti-secular humanism. I refuse to be anti-science. I refuse to be anti-life. In the name of ...Christ, I quit Christianity and being Christian. Amen .
Much as I respect her view, she does seem to be throwing an entire religion under the bus just to make a point. Christianity has nothing to do with American evangelical thuggery - as little as it does with Catholics raping kids. So much as I'd understand she can't sit comfortably with c*nts any more, she is doing a massive disservice to people who actually are Christians.
If Christians are just going to quit and not stand up to the fake Christians perverting their own religion, who will? Doesn't this feel as if the c*nts have won?
