Pat Buchanan Suggests Torture. But When Wouldn't He?

Pat Buchanan: psycho babbler.

Says Andrew Sullivan:

"Pat Buchanan wants to deny the Detroit would-be bomber pain medicine for his burns. This clearly violates American domestic law and the Geneva Conventions."

Ironically there are tens of millions of us uninsured Americans out here who would be living Pat's dream if we were ever unwise enough to set our own balls on fire. Access to non-emergency treatment is a right under the Geneva convention. Shame it doesn't apply to American civilians.

It should behoove Republicans and their Bluedog Quislings to be more careful talking about denying healthcare as a means of torture. Even the slowest witted amongst us might start catching on... They've been doing exactly this to the uninsured ever since they vowed to kill the public option.
