Bill Kristol's Say Wha..?

Bill Kristol lies like a consummate wingnut/neocon propaganda machine. He also knows how to stretch and distort reality to ridiculous extremes without technically lying. When asked about the Republican strategy of "No On Everything" that has set the tone in politics this year, Kristol disagreed that the GOP has been obstructionist and cited an example of Republican bipartnership:

"But Republicans have been bipartisan. What have they supported the president on? On Afghanistan, one of his toughest decisions, increasing troops there. And Republicans, to their credit, have not played politics with that and have supported him."

I'm too lazy to check, so please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but have Republicans ever voted against increased military spending? Ever???

To say Republicans are bipartisan because they voted for a military spending bill is like saying you're an orthodox Jew because you didn't work on Saturday. Or that al Qaeda loves America because there was only one day in the past 8 years where they attacked us. Or that Sarah Palin is intelligent because she can get dressed all by herself.
