White people have only ever done stuff half-assed. And when they were using guns and chains to keep everyone else from their potential, it worked out fine. The problem is, now there's competition and white people want to continue operating at a half-assed level but are finding it harder and harder to do so, making them angrier and angrier. Hence, the Tea Party.

Can't fault the logic and the attention to historical precedent.
