Those good 'Merikun folks at Jihad Watch/Islamophobia central are mad:

USA defeated Iran in basketball today, which comes as a surprise to no one. What may raise a few eyebrows: team dancers were forced to wear long pants in a "nod to Muslim law."

I consider my eye brows well and truly un-raised. Dressing to conform with local standards is just good manners and everyone's been doing it forever. So is it now considered wrong for Americans to be polite everywhere? Or just in Muslim countries?

I wonder how these ignorant tw*ts would react to, say, Kenyan Maasai women strolling round Kansas with their tatas out? Would they admire their insistence on not bowing to our cultural mores?
