Social conservative talking head Bryan Fischer: possibly madder than a sack of rabid squirrels.

Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association is currently scheduled to speak at the "Values Voter" summit in September, along with Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Mike Pence (R-IN) and Mike Huckabee. So he's no lone crazy wailing in the wilderness. This freak actually represents some kind of establishment 'opinion' among what we laughingly refer to as social conservatives. Sample Fischer thought on gays in the military:

"Hitler recruited around him homosexuals to make up his Stormtroopers, they were his enforcers, they were his thugs. And Hitler discovered that he could not get straight soldiers to be savage and brutal and vicious enough to carry out his orders, but that homosexual solders basically had no limits."

Recently, Fischer also called for everyone to "be a Phinehas in our own world". Phine-who..? He's the guy in the Old Testament who speared a couple to death for 'violating God's laws regarding sexual morality'. Wow.

Michele Bachmann's got some big ol' balls appearing live on stage with this guy. While she's way up there in the all-time crazy category, this guy might just blow her off the stage.
