Ergun Caner: From Jihad to Jesus. Or maybe not.
Liberty University - that august "seat of learning" founded by dead Christian conman Jerry Falwell - has announced it intends to investigate allegations against Ergun Caner, president of the university's theological seminary.
Caner became a wingnut celebrity because he was once a Muslim terrorist who saw the light and converted to Christianity. Inevitably, Caner's post-9-11 "Paul on the Road to Damascus" story made him and the evangelicals wads of cash over the years and helped Jeezuzland hate Muslims better. But now it seems the whole story was a crock of sh*t.
Surprised?
That Falwell's charlatans are shown up as fakes ain't exactly earth shattering. But Caner's story of falling in love with America watching Dukes of Hazzard reruns..? A story that dumb was actually made up? Holy sh*t.

The really funny part is that Caner said he learned English by watching Dukes of Hazzard in Turkey where he was a member of the Islamic Youth Jihad. He said he came to America in 1978 ... too bad for him that Dukes of Hazzard wasn't on the air till 1979! The fake actually came to America when he was about 3 in 1969 and grew up in Ohio! I guess he was really a member of the Midwesterner's Cornhuskers Jihad!

Ergun Caner's Crimes against God and the Global Community
No offense, Mr Wheel. I'm no Bill Maher so I'm not slamming Christianity per se. Just the frauds and bigots who use the bible to con money and validate their own prejudices.
