There's so much conservadouche BS spoken about weed it's now become the go-to excuse for any loser who f*cks up and gets caught. It's reefer madness I tell you! The marijuana made me do it! Case in point:

A Kentucky man high on marijuana and drunk on whiskey put his 5-week-old son in the oven Sunday and left him there overnight, police said.

The oven door was slightly ajar, and the oven was not turned on.

It might be a good insanity plea for errant stoners, but 'the weed made me do it' defense only plays into the hands of mini-Reagans all over America who love nothing more than citing examples of the "pernicious effects" of things other people like.
