If you don't like Red State's Erick Erickson, you probably think he's a big fat fascist and closet S&M queer in the mold of Ernst Röhm. If you like Red State's Erick Erickson, you probably are a big fat fascist and closet S&M queer in the mold of Ernst Röhm.
Now I've got that off my chest, let's contemplate the strange goings-on over at RedState. Erickson has been trying to shed the loons from his site by banning various fringe wingnuts from participating in discussions. Says Erickson:
"Today I want to reaffirm and make it more definitive. If you think 9/11 was an inside job or you really want to debate whether or not Barack Obama is an American citizen eligible to be President, RedState is not a place for you."
I guess everyone, even Erickson, can do something right at least once in their life. But where does this end? When you are a fringe loon wingnut site, it seems like a dangerous idea to start picking and choosing particular flavors of lunacy to pander to.
If Erickson's not careful, there'll only be him and us 'liberal trolls' frequenting his site.
