
Here's the picture bow-tied conserva-dweeb Tucker Carlson chose to illustrate a story on Al Sharpton on his site. Hmm...
As far as I know, Sharpton hasn't sported his Blaxploitation look for at least a decade. But Carlson can't resist using an outdated photo to illustrate a current story and send the not-so-subliminal message that he's scarily, irredeemably and radically black. He is, as British upper class snobs used to say, not 'us'.
If a picture existed of Al Sharpton hanging out with the Hutu militia during a break in filming a remake of Superfly, it would pretty much look like this. And, as per Carlson's intent, would have had the same alienating effect on the mid-western, mayo-chugging demographic who bookmark his site.
So, in the interests of fairness, let's post a picture of Carlson that would freak out black people:
