
Giuliani proves again that morons such as he should not play poker because they're no good at hiding their hand. When Wolf Blitzer asked him about his no-terrorism-under-Bush statement and cited the anthrax attacks of 2001 as an example of Bush-era terror, Giuliani said:
"Yes, but that was not done in the name -- as far as we know, that was not done in the name of Islamic terrorism any more than, you know, serial killers who..."
If the anthrax attacks were not terrorism, WTF were they? A direct mail campaign???
In one sentence Giuliani shows his hand: it wasn't done by Muslims so it's not terrorism. You have to be a Muslim to be a terrorist. And, presumably, you have to be a terrorist to be a Muslim.
For authoritarian conservatives, cultural chauvinists and casual bigots like Giuliani, we are not fighting a war on terror. We're fighting a war on Islam.
