The Teabag Turns Full Circle

There's another protest event f*ckwit convention planned by the Teabaggers for January 20 next year. Boring? Yup, these knuckledragger play dates are starting to get old... But before moving on, let's relish some weird irony: The event is billed as a National Day of Strike to "financially cripple" corporations teabaggers don't like.

But isn't striking to hit at capitalist corporations more like... err... Socialist agitation? Have the Teabaggers fallen victim to some kind of weird political Stockholm syndrome and began to sympathize with the imaginary Socialists who are holding the country imaginary hostage? Even the event slogan, "Congress Ignores The People - The People Strike Back", sounds like something translated from a Bolshevik banner circa 1917.

Conservative law professor William Jacobson makes the rather obvious point that the plan is doomed to failure, based "not least on the fact that conservatives could be alienating a potential ally when they take on the machinery of capitalism".

No sh*t Teabagging Sherlocks.
