Dana Perino and Mary Matalin: Are these people ruthless Machiavellians? Or are they just dumb c*nts?
As far as historical revisionism goes, you can't beat former Bush apparatchiks for speed - if not finesse. First we had Dana Perino telling us via Hannity that "We did not have a terrorist attack on our country during President Bush's term."
Now we have GOP strategist and former Dick Cheney adviser Mary Matalin arguing that "we inherited a recession from President Clinton and we inherited the most tragic attack on our own soil in our nation’s history."
I'm again struggling with the cognitive paradox that had me scratching my head through eight straight years of the Bush administration. Are these people ruthless Machiavellians who seek to control their environment by bending reality to their will? Or are they just dumb c*nts?
