Fox News Lie of The Day

Around 200 people in DC braved the weather and gathered in the street for a snowball fight. "It was pretty fun" said one participant. At least until a pissed off-duty cop got his Hummer snowballed and brought out a gun. As the crowd chanted "Don't bring a gun to a snowball fight", other cops were called to keep order.

But Fox News ran a story that an "antiwar protest" had gotten out of control and that "cops had had to draw their weapons".

Everyone's used to Fox lying to advance the cause of corporate authoritarianism. But this is just dumb. It's starting to look like they can't stop lying even when there's no point. Could an entire channel be pathological?
