Jim Webb Joins 9-11 Bizarro World

Jim Webb, Virginia Democrat and Mick Hucknall look-alike, is on the 'oooh the terr'ists are too scary to go on trial' bandwagon. His logic:

"Those who have committed acts of international terrorism are enemy combatants, just as certainly as the Japanese pilots who killed thousands of Americans at Pearl Harbor. It will be disruptive, costly, and potentially counterproductive to try them as criminals in our civilian courts."

Bullsh*t. You can't compare Japanese pilots at Pearl Harbor to the 9-11 hijackers. The Japanese air force were following the orders of the Emperor of Japan. But al Qaeda is not a sovereign nation. 9-11 was not an act of war by a sovereign nation and the terrorists are not 'enemy combatants'. Hijacking planes and flying them into buildings is not 'combat'.

Why would Webb want to side with the GOP obstructionists and block the pursuit of justice? To my thinking, these people are every bit as bizarre and illogical as the 'One-world reptile people did it' 9-11 conspiracy theorists. Get a f***ing grip people!
