Random WTF?

The Alcor Life Extension Foundation in Scottsdale, Ariz., offers customers the opportunity to keep their bodies suspended in liquid nitrogen after death in the (rather sketchy) hope they can be revived by future generations.

But, according to a new book by a former Alcor executive, their professionalism leaves something to be desired:

"Ted Williams' [the MLB's last .400 hitter] severed and frozen head was mutilated at the lab ... abuse by workers at the Alcor Life Extension Foundation included hitting it with a monkey wrench."
