Facts are always a troubling issue for the wingnuts. If you can't yell them into submission or smother them in a suffocating cocoon of lies, how do you handle them?
Awkward Fact #1: According to this year's UN survey of best places to live, the US ranks only 13th with Norway coming first. Of course, conservatives will tell you the UN is full of sh** and America is the best place to live in the entire universe. But they have zero facts to back up their exceptionalist fantasy so I'm more inclined to believe the UN statisticians. At least those guys don't yell in your face and tell you to go live in France (#8 BTW) if you disagree with them.
Awkward Fact #2: The good news for non-wingnuts is that America is once again the world's most admired nation (suck on that Norway!). The bad news for wingnuts? Most admired "thanks largely to the star power of President Barack Obama and his administration, according to a new poll. It climbed from seventh place last year, ahead of France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan which completed the top five nations in the Nation Brand Index (NBI)."
What's that sound? I think Rush Limbaugh's bile duct is about to blow...
