Alan Grayson's Balls of Fury

I wonder what Obama thinks about Alan "Congressman With Guts" Grayson? Do his skills impress? Does he appreciate what an asset the guy is? I should freakin' hope so being as Grayson's doing such a damn fine job of fighting Obama's corner when Obama himself seems more intent on rolling over for Republicans.

Healthcare? We've seen the public option shrivel away while Obama goes all 'hands off' and sucks up to Olympia Snowe. Now, since Grayson got his cape on, it's firmly back on the table. And who give's a rat's a** what Olympia Snowe thinks either way?

Acorn? Because Republicans don't like Acorn, Obama was ready to throw them under the bus. But now Grayson steps in and smacks down the ill-informed "gentleman from Georgia" as to the constitutional legality of defunding them.

Fox News? Grayson told MSNBC's Ed Schultz on Wednesday "They're the enemy of anybody who cares about health care in this country, the enemy of anybody who cares about educating their children, the enemy of anybody who wants energy independence or anything good for this country. And certainly the enemy of peace, there's no doubt about that. They are the enemy."

Either Obama is using Grayson as a proxy, or he should seriously consider following his example. Much as I admire Obama's 'slow-but-sure' dedication to process, the pocket protector approach needs to be augmented with some 'balls of fury', Grayson style.
