Paul Carpenter, a columnist for "The Morning Call" in PA has been rebuked by Rep. Keith McCall (D-Carbon) for impugning the good name of his constituents. According to Carpenter:
"[My] Sept. 6 column said there is a fuss over a planned appearance by radio and television blabber Glenn Beck at the State Theater in Easton. Minority people in Easton do not seem to care for some of Beck's race-baiting comments. The column pointed out there was no fuss when Beck appeared in Carbon County on Aug. 29, "perhaps because that is redneck territory.""
Another grinding example of Beck making Rednecks look worse and, maybe, more support for the old Pennsylvania put down "Philadelphia on the east, Pittsburgh on the west, and Alabama in the middle."
